On behalf of the Steering Committee (PSC) National Congress of ethnic minorities in Vietnam , the Chairman informed UBDT Giang Seo Phu is political events - society is particularly important in public life the peoples of Vietnam Continue to confirm consistent policy of the Party and State on ethnic issues, ethnic affairs and national solidarity in the cause of revolution is that the basic contents: "Gender equality, solidarity, mutual assistance, help each other develop "; Noting the tremendous work of ethnic minorities for common victory of the Revolution in Vietnam.

Participate fully in the 53 minority ethnic communities in Vietnam. Congress was held in three districts, provincial and national authorities. From 2010 onwards held every 10 years the Congress of ethnic minorities at a time. To make the congress, the province must have a 5000 ethnic minorities living in older communities or areas with special difficulties, border and island areas. Based on these criteria 261 districts and 52 provinces have conducted the meeting. Currently there are 40 provinces and cities have taken Congress two provincial and district levels.

Congress Steering Committee by the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung as its head; The Chairman Mr. Giang Seo Phu, Standing Deputy Chairman. The Steering Committee is composed of 34 members representing the ministries concerned. - Establishment of the Congress Organizing Committee consists of 19 members and 06 subcommittees.

- Through the expected number of provinces and districts to conduct the Congress of the ethnic minorities at all levels and a plan for allocating delegates to the National Assembly for Local

- To guide the organization through Congress of the ethnic minorities in Vietnam provincial and district levels.
